Holland Hockey Skate-a-thon!
Where: The Edge Time: 3-5pm
We are excited to announce the first Holland Hockey Skate-a-thon for Saturday, September 11 from 3-5 pm. This is a great opportunity for your skater to raise some much needed funds. We simply ask that he/she collect pledges from friends, neighbors, family and for that pledge he/she will skate
non-stop for 1-2 hours. We will have pledge forms to either mail to those out of area friends and pledge sheets to use here in town.
Now here's the good part - 100% of these pledges come right back to Holland Hockey. It will be broken down like this: 90% will go directly for your skater to help pay for tournaments, playoffs, even ice bills. 10% will go to Holland Hockey Association to help pay for the Skate-a-thon, drinks for the event, future Association events or other needed expenses.
This event will be lots of fun with prizes awarded for most dollars raised, most pledges turned in and more! Look for pledge forms soon either at the rink or downloadable from this website.
